It's been really hot in DC this week. Benji is spending the week in New Jersey with Aaron's parents and Aaron has been working overtime on his current contract. Instead of a family dinner, I picked Tamar and Daniel up from camp and gave them sandwiches, veggies, and fruit in the car on the way to a splash park near our house. In addition to being lots of fun, they had enough extra exercise that they fell asleep easily (they often keep each other awake by talking and giggling). I think this should become a regular event! --Victoria

They ran and ran ... and played with some neighborhood kids.
Daniel was cautious at first, but the water immediately brought out Tamar's joyful spirit!
Daniel got a little cold but the big bag of swim gear included a kiddie-wetsuit to keep him warm.
