Books Before Breakfast

I love it that Benji loves books so much. Sometimes, I leave a soft book or two in his crib at night so that he can look at them in the morning if he wakes up before we do and is willing to hang out by himself for a few minutes. A few days ago, he was so engrossed in the book that he wasn't interested in coming out of the crib! He has also chosen to read a book before eating breakfast. Obviously, he takes after his parents and grandparents. --Victoria

Busy Sorting Pens

In addition to cans, he loves sorting writing implements. He thinks they are all called "highlighters," which he pronounces as "hi-la-la." --Victoria

A New Word from a Big Boy

One of his new words is "snow" -- or more precisely, "thnow." --Victoria

Organizing Cans

He loves taking cans out of a cupboard and organizing them. This photo was taken when we were visiting Aaron's parents. --Victoria

Walking With Daddy

Benji loves going for a walk, and will often say "walk, walk!" and put up his hand to take ours, and pull us towards the door. I guess he takes after Victoria's parents, Pauline and Richard, who are avid hikers. --Victoria

Eager For Gelato

We had lunch with Yousef and Sarah at a restaurant called "We, The Pizza" and we shared a bowl of gelato for dessert. Benji was EXTREMELY eager to be given a spoonful! --Victoria
