Ready for School (from last Wednesday)

The weather on Wednesday was warm, clear, and sunny -- but Tamar and Daniel still weren't taking any chances on the half-block walk to school.

Benji helps with Play-Doh

He showed Tamar how to use the tool that squeezes the Play-Doh into fun shapes.  They've all been having a great time making Play-Doh stuff lately.

Daniel's "work box"

He keeps putting stuffed toys, paper, little cars, and other random toys in this box.  He calls it his "work box" and informed me that he was going to take it to work with him.  I have no idea where this concept came from!

Takoma Park Folk Festival

A few weeks ago, the kids and I attended a local folk festival, helped by my friend Liz.  I face-painted the twins for fun (Daniel's dragon came out much better than Tamar's butterfly...  next time!)  After checking out the performances (or ignoring them in favor of sidewalk chalk), the boys spent probably an hour at a kids' play area (Tamar took a nap) then they all had a blast running up and down the grassy stepped hill behind the school (where the festival was held) and then running around the school track.  Needless to say, they were pretty tired that evening!

County Fair (Part 5)

At the petting zoo, Benji was brave enough to feed a camel!  We finished the evening off with dinner and funnel cakes and a ride on the Ferris wheel (Aaron was feeling queasy so he stayed on the ground).
