Daniel loves the mini-vac

Watching the Parade for Chinese New Year

The boys did the traditional "sit on the curb or the street to watch the parade" but Tamar couldn't keep her dancing feet still!  Fortunately, the weather was gorgeous.  --Victoria

   

Our evenings

The kids ran ahead of me and sat on the porch until I caught up with them and unlocked the door.

On Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays, we are joined by our amazing babysitter, Josiane, who helps with the kids for a couple of hours each evening because Aaron has evening classes.  This evening, she helped Tamar and Daniel prepare Valentine cards for all their classmates.

Benji learns laundry!

Benji tried to get out of doing housework by saying that he would do laundry instead of loading the dishwasher -- because he knew that there was no laundry ready to be folded.  Instead of getting to kick back and relax, as he had expected, he had to come out to the shed with me and learn the entire laundry process.  --Victoria

Daniel folded "square things" while Tamar sorted socks.  Later on, Tamar opened the dishwasher by herself, put her dishes inside, and closed it up again.  It's great progress!  --Victoria
