Breakfast in the kitchen!

We usually set up for breakfast in the living/dining room, where the large table is, but the kids wanted to have breakfast in the kitchen a few days ago and it worked really well.  Maybe we should make this a regular thing.

Benji's soccer game

Now that it's colder, Benji's soccer games are indoors.  Last week, I took the twins to watch their big brother.  Daniel was a little interested but Tamar was pretty bored.  In future, I'll leave them with Aaron.

Benji is the kid in the orange shirt and shorts.

Benji's art (lots of ninjas)

Benji loves a TV show called "Ninjago" which is about lego ninjas.  He also found a youtube tutorial that has been helping him to learn how to draw the characters from the show.  He's getting better and better at it!

Public Service Announcement from Daniel (safety)

Yesterday evening, he loudly announced: "THIS IS SAFETY" while in the poses you see below.

I'm not sure he understands what the word "safety" means . . .  :)   But he really wanted everyone to know.

Hannukkah Gifts

Tamar and Daniel loved the plush "Chase" from Paw Patrol (for Daniel) and the plush "BB-8" from the recent Star Wars movie (for Tamar, although she calls it "Baby 8")

It was a rainy day and we were very happy to renew our annual membership at the National Building Museum.  --Victoria

Daniel, agent of chaos

Before I got home, Aaron was making dinner and didn't realize that Daniel had figured out how to unlock the cabinet that holds all the puzzles and the games with small pieces.  And that Daniel had figured out (for once in his life) how to do something QUIETLY.  This is what greeted me when I got home.  As well as a lovely dinner.  --Victoria
