Tamar tries on some Fall clothes

Tamar loves this dress but it's lovely and warm . . .  just like the weather today.  I think she'll have to wait a few weeks before she can wear it outside the house.  (also, I think I need to roll up the sleeves for her)

Kitchen Helpers

Tamar and Daniel enjoyed helping me make a kale salad (although it took a lot of convincing to get them to believe that it wasn't broccoli).  They liked ripping up the kale leaves and they liked rubbing them with olive oil.  I need to get better at making this happen more often.  --Victoria

Benji's much-needed haircut

After Benji jumped down from the tree, I took him for a haircut.  He didn't want me to take the "before" picture, obviously.  --Victoria

Climbing a tree after school

He was proud of jumping down from such a height.

Vacation (more visiting Victoria's friends)

Tamar and Daniel loved being at a farm and seeing all the animals.  They especially fell in love with the two cats.  As for me, I even had a chance to practice my (long-unused) goat-milking skills!

Vacation (visiting Victoria's friends)

After the cottage, we spend a couple of days with Victoria's friends, who live on a farm.  Benji had a great time with their youngest daughter, who is almost the same age.  They jumped on the trampoline, played video games, built a castle, played and swam in the pool and in the pond, watched a movie, went canoeing on the pond, and played board games.  By the end of the visit, I think they were both convinced that the other was pretty darn cool.

Vacation (big brother reading time)

I love it when Benji reads to Tamar and Daniel.  It's a win for everyone.
