End-of-school artwork (by Tamar)

At the end of the year, the teachers send home tons art work that the kids completed during the course of the year.  This selection is by Tamar.  The final picture is actually my favorite!

A whole row of dinosaurs!

Lots of fierce roaring...

Tamar can roar even without being a dinosaur!

[late post] Tamar & Daniel's birthday party (part 1 of 2)

The birthday party was at the duck pin bowling alley again, with a dinosaur and unicorn theme, of course.  For some reason, I don't have photos of any actual bowling (just a friend's daughter holding a bowling ball, as proof), but I do have photos of a dance party, a visit from a favorite teacher (Daniel's teacher last year is Tamar's teacher this year), and a few more activities that you'll see in the next post!

Benji's Lego creations! (from the movie Avengers: Endgame)

He made the Infinity Gauntlet with all the infinity stones! (and even a tiny handle underneath so that a Lego mini-figure can hold it and look like it's wearing the gauntlet)

Also -- look at that beautiful smile!  He is such a handsome boy.

More photos from his birthday party.  --Victoria

Time for cake!

Gathering around to sing happy birthday.

Two of Benji's friends found a very creative place to eat their slices of cake!

Benji turns 10 today! (part 1)

It's so hard to believe.  We had his party yesterday in a nearby park and the weather was beautiful.  The kids did a scavenger hunt then ran around playing make-believe games.  So much fun!

We set up a table with snacks and drinks.

While Aaron was setting things up, I hid the scavenger hunt items.  The theme was Minecraft (the building game) so each kid had to find one "stick" (pictured below) and two "gems" before they could make a sword.

Once they found the stick and two gems, the kids brought these items to the "crafting table" and "furnace" that we brought from Benji's room, and the items were converted into a (foam) sword.  Then they ran around brandishing swords at each other for the rest of the party and coming up with different Minecraft-themed adventures.
