County Fair (part 2)

This "obstacle course" type thing was a big favorite with all three kids.  They had to make their way through some "punching bags" then through a short tube and through a ball pit.  After that, they climbed a ramp, crossed a wobbly bridge, then slid down a long slide.

The first time they went through, Tamar got kind of stuck in the ball pit and Benji came back to rescue her.

Trip to the County Fair! (part 1)

Dragon roller coaster + Construction-vehicle-themed bounce house = happiness!

Waiting in line for a brothers' ride on the roller coaster!

Taking off shoes before going in to the bounce house.

Back to School Night (Benji's classroom)

At the school's "Back to School" Night, the parents are able to meet the teachers and see what the kids have started doing.  I attended the event while Aaron stayed home with the kids.  Here are some photos of Benji's homeroom.

Last week's homework:  a page of "Math About Me"

(my favorite part is the final sentence:  "I tend to have 63 doors in my house")

Benji's homeroom teacher is the math teacher, so the homeroom has a lot of math stuff in it!

Portrait of Daniel (age 3 1/2)

What an irresistible smile!  How could anyone refuse the baked goods he's offering?  :)

RETURN OF THE BLOG!!! (our weekend)

Now that my phone has been repaired and returned to me, I'll be able to manage the blog again.

We had a relaxed and fun weekend.  Among other activities, Benji and Aaron played a complex strategy board game against a computer opponent (closely supervised by Daniel), Tamar worked on coloring the "pretty picture" she has been coloring for about 5 days (that marker is going to be totally dry soon!), Daniel worked carefully on his letters using some "write and wipe" cards that use dry erase markers so they can be wiped clean after use (which, being Daniel, he diligently did), and Tamar took it upon herself, for some unknown reason, to get out the bicycle pump and re-inflate one of the soccer balls.  I took photographs, did a lot of laundry, and read a lot of the fourth book in the Harry Potter series.
