Napping with Mickey Mouse
When we visited Aaron's parents, Susan and Yuri, Benji decided that it was time for a nap -- so he pulled his sleeping blanket ("Blankie") over them both and announced that it was nap time. --Victoria

Toddler Etiquette
Apparently it's appropriate toddler etiquette to come to the breakfast table wearing nothing but a diaper and a hat. But the hat must be removed before the meal is served. Who knew? --Victoria

Things Benji Says
More photos soon, I promise... but in the meantime:
Aaron: Come on Benji, it's time for lunch.
Benji: Not now Daddy, I'm DANCING!
[and he was]

Things Benji Says
Benji loves counting. His "counting" usually has no relation to the number of objects in front of him. This was what we heard him saying on the car trip home today:
Benji: Counting Daddy! So many Daddies! One, two, three, FOUR! Four Daddies!
Victoria: Really? Four Daddies? How about counting Mommy?
Benji: Counting Mommy! One, two, three, four, five, SIX! Four Mommies!
We both burst out laughing at that point. I think Benji was confused about why.

Things Benji Says
Benji knows all the women in the dance group that I belong to. Aldona and Rowyn are two of his favorite people in that group. My conversation with Benji on Sunday went like this:
B: I see look like Aldona!
V: You see someone who looks like Aldona? I don't see them...
B: I want see Aldona.
V: We'll see Aldona on Wednesday, when we see all our dancing friends.
B: Appledona.
V: What? Did you just say "Appledona?"
B: APPLEdona! AppleROWYN!
I love it that he's not just using language, he's actually playing with it. I'm so proud of him.

Benji and Xavi
This was from a few months ago, and I can't believe I didn't get around to posting it yet. Obviously, we're no longer wearing coats and hats. The boys still love playing together. --Victoria
