I always assumed that Aaron and I would have a child with dark brown wavy hair and green or hazel eyes. I don't know why I didn't take recessive genes into account, but they obviously manifested themselves in Benji. --Victoria

Putting Words Together

Benji has started putting words together. He said "bye bye Mommy" and now he says "sippy cup" and "big bus" and "big truck." It's not clear that he knows what "big" means, because he used "big truck" to refer to the little electric cart that whisked us and our luggage through the airport. I still think it's progress. --Victoria
